The Eyebrows of Mr. Spock

The man without glasses glides homeward
on a plane
His name is Peter
And he goes into his house
He looks in the front room
There is a TV, a chair
a couch and a recliner

But he can only think about
That hair
that hair that he found in
His cheeseburger
     Only $1.49 with
a large pop and fries
He had only given the guy a strange look
maybe he should have gotten
the phone number of that
Pretty little waitress
With the epileptic
eye

he turns on the TV
With that button-pusher
or that troll
and watches Oprah Win-
frey speaking about
hare-lipped homicidal great-grandmothers
In residential and suburban areas

This was his legacy
he snored
