Arriving Undetected
Our lights were our fantasy
how we played music on the back of a car
Is this the dream? Is this the nightmare?
Is this a corporation of the darkness and the street?
Life was forbidden freedom and stolen happiness
our lives would never be the same
Ask the man if we can go out tonight
instead we sneak along the city streets
and make them ours. Where has that feeling gone?
I watch you walk by the bushes, by the river
I see you scale every wall in the city
don't make me just a person anymore.
Teach them something. If the music fades
away will it ever live inside us again?
